What two different times does BOLT send AHL file info to WT?

• At the start and end of the day for all files

• Every hour for all files

• 24 hours for standard files

• Immediately for international files

What is true about a quick on-hand file? (Intake file)

• They must be created within 1 hour of the bag being unclaimed in station

• They leave the system after 24 hours

• They can be created with a scanner or in BOLT

What is true about an OHD (on hand) file?

• OHD file is created when a bag arrives without a person

• File must be created within 4 hours of the bag being unclaimed in station

• The time you have to create the file starts with the inbound scan

• OHD files can be created for tag off bags

Recommendations of when to open an OHD bag for contents and where/what you’re looking for?

• Only open if you can’t identify

  pax and have a witness

• Only open when you know the pax is on their way

• Only open when you need to organize the contents

• It is preferred you only view last packed/items on top

What is ROH and where do you view?

• It stands for Remaning On Hand - sent when to forward a bag to another station; you can view in Control panel > view ROH

• It stands for Requested on Hand - another city is requesting an OHD bag at your station; you can view in Control panel > view ROH

• It stands for Requested on Hand - send when to forward a bag to another station; you can view in Reports> view ROH

• It stands for Requested On Happiness - you view when you're feeling sad at work; you can view in Control panel > view ROH

What do you have to do if you need to FWD an OHD to another city?

• Call the destination city and let them know you've sent it

• create a FWD message and use a rush sicker/tag when sending the bag out

• No extra steps - just put it on a flight with a rush sticker/tag

What do you do with OHD if the pax picks up OR you FWD to another station?

• Update the remarks but leave it open

• Just close the file

• Update the remarks and close the file

• Tell someone else to update the remarks and close the file

When do you send OHD to IAH and how?

• When you feel like the bag has been in the station too long, send it using a rush tag

• When you feel like the bag has been in the station too long, send it using a rush tag, from OHD send FLZ, print tag and leave the file open

• On day 4 of the bag being unclaimed in station, from OHD send FLZ, print tag and leave the file open

• On day 2 of the bag being unclaimed in station, from OHD send FLZ, print tag and leave the file open

How and why do we suspend tracing on a bag in a file that has two or more bags?

• In the file in BOLT select suspend/ reinstate; tells

  the system including WT to stop looking for the bag because it is no longer missing
