• We close our eyes and count backwards from 23

• We line up calmly and quietly

• We send her a text message

Where can I return my library books?

• In the book bin outside the library

• On my teacher's desk

• In the slot on Ms. Winer's circulation desk

• In my teacher's book box/bin

What should my voice level be when I am in the library?

• Totally silent the entire time

• Screaming at the top of my lungs like I'm in the gym

• Whisper only when I am called on to speak

• Level 1 or 2. Indoor voice while sharing, talking about books, and completing choice activities

When I look for a book,

• I should sprint through the aisles and pick any book I can find

• I should think about topics or authors I really like and look for those books

• Ask Ms. Winer for suggestions

• Look at the front and back cover and read the first paragraph to see if I'm interested

When we (a)   , we should stand in line, wait our turn, and hand Ms. Winer our library card and books.

After checking out, we can...

• Read our books

• Color, play Uno, draw, or do a word search

• Pretend we're in the gym and run around

• Leave the library and go to the bathroom
