What if you’re in the outside the classroom?

• Get to a classroom, any classroom, as quickly as you can and lockdown.

• If the classroom is already locked then find a place to hide.

• Do not go from classroom to classroom.

• Running off campus may be another option.

Can we text our parents?

• In the time immediately after a Lockdown is called, remain silent and silence your phone.

• As the event evolves, you’ll be given an opportunity to text your parents.

• Your teacher will ask you to text them that you are okay.
