What is a Sound Designer?

• The person who designs and manages sound effects and/or music used in a production for stage or screen.

• the person who creates and constructs costumes

• A person who researches dramatic literature and provides in depth knowledge to the theatre company

• A person with a large ego and fondness for hearing themselves speak

What is a stagehand?

• The hand you use on stage mainly

• A member of the backstage technical crew responsible for running the show

• The person who manages the technical aspects of the stage production

Black Box

• The place where tickets are sold for admission to a stage production; the earnings from ticket sales

• The area of the stage that is beyond the view of the audience

• A bare room used as a versatile theatre space in which the audience and staging can be presented in any configuration
