Orangutans are great apes from Indonesia. Orangutan means man of the forest. They live in Sumatra and Borneo. The scientiic name of Orangutan from Northern Sumatra is Pongo Abelii and the scientiic name of Orangutan from Borneo is Pongo Pygmaeus. Orangutans have big bodies. A male orangutan can be more than 100 kilograms and can be quite tall. His height can be up to 150 centimeters tall. Female orangutans are smaller and shorter than the males. A mature female orangutan’s weight is about 40 kilograms. Her height is about 120 centimeters tall. Orangutans have reddish brown hair. Unlike monkeys, they do not have tails. They have strong arms. Komodo

Komodo is the biggest lizard in the world. Some people say it is a dragon and the scientists say that komodo is one of the ancient animals which survive until today. The original home of that dragon is Komodo Island, Indonesia. But, we can see this awesome animal at the zoo. Komodo is structurally not too different with theother lizard family but because the shape is so big then this animal is also known as the king of lizard. Komodo grows atthe maximum length of 3 meters with 70-80 kilograms weight. Komodo is a venomous lizard that hunts any otheranimal such as birds, and mammals. When it bites theother animal, at first the victim would run away and deathsomewhere. But after that, komodo would find it because ithas tongue and sense of smell to detect the carrion.Even it has only single ear bone and bad sight, butusing the tongue and the smell sense it can find the carrionat the radius of 9, 5 km.
