Our body has different ways to stop us from being infected with diseases. We call these the body's defences against diseases.

Diseases can be speard by body contact and in food, in water and in the air. There are different ways we can help to control the spread of diseases

• Only drink safe, clean water

• Don;t leave food at room temperature

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
