Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, born in Salzburg, Austria, was a musical prodigy who began composing at age four. By six, he was touring Europe with his sister, performing for royalty. Mozart's passion for music was evident as he composed constantly, even during personal events. A mysterious commission for a Requiem Mass coincided with his declining health, leading him to believe he was writing it for his own funeral. Although he died before completing it, Mozart left behind over 600 works, including operas and piano pieces, solidifying his status as one of history's greatest composers.
