Define Objective Perspective

• not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.

• A Branch of Philosophy/Religious Studies that deals with values relating to Human Conduct in relation to a system of moral principles.

• a subject's personal perspective, feelings, beliefs, desires or discovery, as opposed to those made from an independent, objective, point of view

Define Subjective Perspective

Religious Education

• A reason for taking action in the presence of suffering. It is the knowledge that by improving the lives of others we ultimately improve our own life experiences.

• Self-focused to a degree in which people choose to not take action because it does not appear to relate to them or affect them. "What is in it for me? It doesn't affect me so why do anything? They need to do it themselves-- 'get a job.'"

Apathy

• Lack of interest, Enthusiasm, or concern

Empathy

• Ability to share the feeling of another.

• Wishing & knowing that one day a situation will improve.

• Without others to believe in and support a cause or movement, nothing would change.

• An individual who lives daily with the intention of caring and supporting others.
