Answer explanation

Media Image

At the beginning of the her journey

distance = 0 at time 11:00

then she moved in speed = 16 mile/h

for 90 min

a. convert min to hours so 90/60 = 1.5 hours

so she began at 11:00 and kept moving 1 hour and a half so the time is 12:30

b. calculate the distance

d= speed X time

= 16 X 1.5

= 24

so for the second point distance= 24

time= 12:30

then third she when home at 3:00

so back to x axis at 3:00
