امتحان الثّناء

In the morning of one of the days, a fox went to visit a gazelle who was complaining about the difficult life and lack of food saying: 'Why don't we be friends and cooperate so that our lives become more beautiful and easier?' The gazelle replied: 'I am not complaining about the lack of food. Everything I need is available in these beautiful fields surrounding us.'

The fox worked to convince him to become loyal friends, until the gazelle agreed to share and befriend him. While they were wandering, the gazelle said to his friend: 'Look at this vast land. We can roam in it as we wish, but beware of approaching the grape clusters, do not eat from them, and do not covet them, because their owner takes great care of them, and he comes every morning to admire them, and joy and happiness are drawn on his face.'

The fox could not wait long. He waited for an appropriate opportunity, and while the gazelle was sleeping, he headed for the grape clusters. He had not taken a single step until a trap closed on his leg, and he cried out in pain. The gazelle was surprised by what he heard, and he hurried to see what had happened to him, and he found him caught in the trap.
