Once upon a time, there was a poor fisherman named Rudi who lived in a small village by the sea. Every day, he went fishing to earn a living, but he often caught only a few fish. One day, as he was pulling up his net, he found a golden fish. To his surprise, the fish spoke, “Please let me go, and I will grant you three wishes.” Astonished, Rudi agreed and released the fish back into the sea.
For his first wish, Rudi wished for wealth, and immediately, his small hut turned into a beautiful house filled with gold and treasures. For his second wish, he wished for a large boat so he could catch more fish. Instantly, a big boat appeared by the shore. However, Rudi's third wish was made without much thought. He wished for even more wealth, but his greed led to his downfall. All his new possessions disappeared, and he was left as poor as before.
From that day on, Rudi realized the importance of being content with what he had. He went back to his simple life as a fisherman, grateful for his health and the lessons he had learned.
Where did Rudi live?
