Conditional Sentence หมายถึง

• เพ้อฝันหรือไม่เป็นจริง

• ข้อเท็จจริงทั่วไป

• ประโยคที่ผู้พูดสมมติว่าถ้ามีเหตุการณ์หนึ่งเกิดขึ้น จะมีผลหรือเหตุการณ์อื่นๆ เกิดขึ้นตามมา

• คาดว่าน่าจะเป็น/เป็นเหตุเป็นผลกัน

mixed conditional sentence หมายถึง

• ใช้อธิบายว่า ถ้าหากเหตุการณ์หนึ่งเกิดขึ้น อีกเหตุการณ์หนึ่งก็มีแนวโน้มว่าจะเกิดขึ้น

• ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับความจริงในปัจจุบันและอนาคต หรือใช้สมมติสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้ในปัจจุบัน

• ใช้กับเงื่อนไขที่เป็นจริงเสมอ ใช้พูดถึงความจริงตามธรรมชาติ หรือข้อเท็จจริงทั่วไป
