What a person owns- cash, stocks, bonds,  

real estate, personal possessions, etc.

An official record of a borrower’s credit history; includes  information such as the amount and type of credit used,  outstanding balances, and any delinquencies, bankruptcies,  or tax liens

A statistical measure of a loan applicant’s  

creditworthiness- the likelihood of repayment

Something owed; usually measured in dollars

Total dollar amount paid for credit

Amount of time that a creditor allows before charging  extra fees

A general increase in the price of goods over time

Money you are paid for lending money or the amount of  money that is added to the money you borrowed

Charge levied against a client for not paying a bill by its due  date

An investment tool that pools money of many shareholders  and invests it in a diversified portfolio of securities such as:  stocks, bonds, and money market assets
