Read the passage and answer the questions given below.

Mullah Nasruddin's Bet On a freezing day in winter, Mullah Nasruddin was having a chat with some of his friends. "Cold weather doesn't bother me at all," he said. (1)  "We'll take you up on that," said his friends. "If you stand all night in the village square without using anything to warm yourself, each of us will treat you to a feast. But if you fail to do so, you will treat us all." (2)  "All right, it's a bet," Mullah Nasruddin said. (3)  Mullah Nasruddin spent that night standing in the village square. The next morning, he ran triumphantly to his friends. "I've won!" he announced. (4)  "You've lost, Mullah Nasruddin," said one of them. "I checked at midnight. I saw a candle burning at a window about three hundred yards away from you. You warmed yourself by its flame." (5)  "That's silly! How can a candle behind a window warm a person three hundred yards away?" Mullah Nasruddin argued, but his friends decided otherwise. Mullah Nasruddin accepted their decision and invited all of them to a dinner at his home. (6)  They arrived at Mullah's house and their host told them that dinner was nearly ready. A long time passed, but there was no sign of dinner. (7)  Feeling very hungry, the guests went into the kitchen and could not believe their eyes. Mullah Nasruddin was standing by a huge pot, placed carefully over a lighted candle. (8)  "Be patient, my friends. Dinner will be ready soon," he said. (9)  "Are you out of your mind?" they shouted. (10)  Mullah Nasruddin smiled and said, "If the flame of a candle three hundred yards away can warm a person, surely it can boil this pot which is much closer." (11)

What was the bet that Mullah Nasruddin made with his friends?

To stand all night in the village square without eating.

To stand all night in the village square without using anything to warm himself.

To run around the village square all night.

To sleep in the village square all night.
