QUESTION:
What happens if you arrive after the bell rings without a pass or a message?
SYLLABUS PASSAGE:
When the bell rings I will take attendance. If you come at any point after the bell rings you will be marked as ABSENT if you do do not come up to me with a pass. This means that I will only count you as present if you physically hand me a pass. I will make one exception: If you are between 1-5 minutes late you may send me a message from your Chromebook letting me know you are here and the reason you were late. If I get a message from you I will decide based on the information shared if you will be marked tardy or tardy excused. If I do not get a note you will still be marked absent. If you send a note that has a time stamp later than five minutes after the bell without a note you will be marked as tardy MSI but no longer be marked as absent. If you leave before the bell rings without having communicated with me you will be marked Tardy MSI.
You will be marked tardy excused.
You will be marked absent.
You will be allowed to stay without any consequences.
Mrs. Soderberg will see you from across the room and make changes without you needing to communicate anything to her.
