MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

What does the Circulatory System transport that the Digestive System processes? (How do the body systems rely on each other?)

The blood that the Liver filters from the Digestive Tract. The Circulatory System then transports that blood back through blood vessels, so it doesn't waste any.

Feelings. Because nerves/feelings mainly come from the Digestive System, it is the Circulatory Systems job to deliver those feelings to the brain.

Nutrients. The Digestive System ingests, and digests the food, breaking it up into nutrients, carbs, proteins, and vitamins that the body needs. The Circulatory System then transports those materials to different parts of the body.

Waste. The Circulatory System transports the waste back the way it came, so that the body doesn't contain it anymore.

What would happen if the Muscle System was taken out? (How they depend on each other)

Your body would be able to move quicker, because you are lighter without pounds of muscle on your bones.

You would not be able to move. Muscles and Bones allow movement in your body, so without your core, or any muscles, you would not be able to move.

You could still move, but it would be less firm and direct. You could also not lift anything.

You would be thin as a twig, and also very weak. Your muscles fatten you up, so you would also be deprived of nutrients.

Where do a majority of your red blood cells come from? And what would happen if they weren't being produced? (What would happen if one was not functioning properly)

Red blood cells are produced from other, dead cells.

Your brain would die, but your heart would continue to pump air.

Most red blood cells come from bone marrow.

Your body would shut down completely. Your brain would stop functioning, and so would your heart.

MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

2 mins • 1 pt

Why do animals and humans share the same system?

Because all living things require the same basic functions to survive, such digesting food, breathing, and circulating blood flow.

Plants and animals have the same organ systems because they share a similar structure, and share similar needs.

They don't. Animals have less organ systems, and needs, so naturally they would have a different set of systems.

Humans and Animals share a system because they are just different forms of each other, with similar needs.
