Usually at the end of a restating, you'll use by or because so that the rest of the sentence can answer the question.

These examples show just a couple ways cats are much easier to take care than dogs.

Cats are nicer than dogs. They don't jump on you or wake you up in the morning to take you for a walk. Cats also are not sloppy eaters. Cats are definitely nicer than dogs.
