The verb TO NEED is used when you'te talking about.....

• Something that is really important to do.It's like an obligation.

• something that is important but isn't an obligation

The verb TO WANT is used when you're talking about...

• to express that is not neccesary but it's required

  Example: I live in Ecuador but I WANT TO live in USA.

• Something that is completely important to do or to have to feel good or to live well.

  Example:I NEED TO eat right now.I'm so hungry!
