Yearbook Theme

A spread used to divide each of the sections of the yearbook. It is usually theme related in design, and the copy links the main theme to the ensuing section.

ENDSHEET

• Heavier sheets of paper that hold pages to the cover. Designed to reflect the theme.

• The center of the spread where the two pages meet.

• A package (sidebar, quotes, scoreboard, etc.) of brief content used to expand coverage.

• Two facing pages in a yearbook, such as 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6 and 7, and so on

A statement or idea which clearly communicates the action, tempo, mood and personality of the students at your school this year.
