What is the difference between a works cited page and an annotated bibliography?

• A Works Cited page goes at the end of an essay and an annotated bibliography goes at the end of projects

• A Works Cited page simply lists the resources you used, while an annotated bibliography describes  and explains the resources you used. 

• A Works Cited page is more formal than an annotated bibliography
