Avery and Fern visit the Zuckerman farm. Avery has a frog and Fern has flowers in her hair. They eat blueberry pie, pick raspberries and swing. When Avery sees Charlotte he decides to capture her. Fern tries to stop him.

Charlotte finally begins to to carry out her plan. One night she spins her web with words "Some Pig" written in it. Lurvy finds it and shows Zuckerman. Soon the whole town hears about it. They become convinced that Wilbur is a special pig.

Avery tries to capture Charlotte. Charlotte is saved when Avery accidentally breaks open Templeton's rotten egg. Charlotte spins a special web that that amazes the whole town. She thinks her plan to save Wilbur is working, but wants to spin a new web with words. She sends Templeton to find her a word.

Templeton does not want to help Charlotte or Wilbur. In the end he agrees to help them though because the old sheep explains that if Wilbur dies, Templeton will no longer be able to eat from his trough.
