When Ben came home from school, he noticed that his snake was missing. He looked everywhere for it! First, he looked under his bed. Then, he looked in closet and in his laundry basket. Tim didn’t think he would ever find his pet. After 30 minutes, he finally found his snake.

What is the main idea? Of all the insects in the world, the insect I dislike the most is the dragonfly. They look like flying caterpillars to me, and they have very weird eyes. Whenever I see a dragonfly I start crying because they are so terrifying. Even drawings of dragonflies creep me out. I don’t like them at all!

Cats are horrible animals. They can hiss, scratch, and bite people. Cats can make people sneeze and can be very messy in a house. Dogs are great animals and do not hiss at people. I do not know why anyone likes cats. Dogs are friendlier than cats.

Mrs. O’Brien’s class is having a hard time choosing what their class pet should be. Three students wanted a hamster. Five students really wanted to get a pet lizard. Two girls that were best friends, both wanted a pet rabbit. At the end of the day the entire class voted. Mrs. O’Brien’s class is getting a turtle!

When you read a book, you can pretend you’re a pirate looking for treasure, a prince trying to rescue a princess, or a bee building a beehive. Books are amazing. Reading is fun!
