What are some tips that are helpful for the writing and language section?

• shorter is better

• vertical scan - Compare answer choices. Check for similarities and differences (on the grammar questions).

• Only 1 answer can be correct - Eliminate answer choices that are basically the same in function (i.e. transitions, vocabulary).

• No Change is a real option - Do not forget to use the underline as a real option to consider.

• It sounds right - You should always choose what sounds the best to your ear.
