Writing Text Evidence

Select the TWO requirements to writing a good claim:

Citing a page number or paragraph number is important because....

• We will get less points on our paragraph for not including it.

• It tells the reader why the evidence is important

• It tells the reader where they can find the evidence in the text.

• It answers the prompt.
