The Seven Sacraments

1. BAPTISM

• Unites and man and woman in a Christian marriage and they make a permanent promise to God to be faithful, and being open to have children.

• Makes us sons and daughters of God.

3. PENANCE OR RECONCILIATION

• Gives us the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

• We receive comfort and strength in times of serious illness and prepares us for death.

• Forgives us of our sins.

4. HOLY COMMUNION

• Gives us the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

• When a man becomes a Deacon, Priest, or Bishop to serve the spiritual needs of other in the Catholic Church.

• Gives the Holy Spirit to us in a special way.

5. ANOINTING OF THE SICK

• Forgives us of our sins.

• We receive comfort and strength in times of serious illness and prepares us for death.

• Unites a man and a woman in a Christian marriage and they make a permanent promise to God to be faithful, and be open to having children.

6. HOLY ORDERS

• Makes us sons and daughters of God.

• When a man becomes a Deacon, Priest, or Bishop to serve the spiritual needs of other in the Catholic Church.

7. MATRIMONY

• Unites a man and a woman in a Christian marriage and they make a permanent promise to God to be faithful, and be open to having children.
