The Helpful Fox
On a sunny morning, Lily the rabbit was hopping through the meadow, carrying a basket of vegetables to her grandmother’s house. She was happy and hummed a cheerful tune as she went. Suddenly, a strong wind blew, and Lily’s basket tipped over. All the vegetables spilled onto the ground.
Lily sat down, feeling upset. “How will I carry all of this now?” she wondered.
Just then, Felix the fox came by. “What’s wrong, Lily?” he asked kindly.
“My basket spilled, and I can’t carry all the vegetables!” Lily cried.
Felix smiled. “Don’t worry! I’ll help you.” He gathered the vegetables and carried half of them in his own bag. Together, they made their way to Lily’s grandmother’s house.
When they arrived, Lily’s grandmother thanked Felix. “You’re a very helpful fox!” she said.
From that day on, Lily and Felix became good friends. Lily learned that even when things go wrong, there’s always someone who can help.
