• An airplane with an engine of more than 200 horsepower

• Must have received and logged ground and flight training from an authorized instructor in a high-performance airplane

• Must have received and logged a one-time endorsement in your logbook from the authorized instructor

What is a complex airplane and what do you have to do to act as PIC of one?

• An airplane that has a retractable landing gear, flaps, and a controllable pitch propeller

What is the difference between being 'current' and 'proficient'?

• 'Current' means you are legal to fly

• 'Proficient' means you are comfortable with your skills and abilities in that plane
