Once upon a time there was a poor young boy called Jack who lived in the forest with his mother. The son and mother lived off their cow’s milk but one day it stopped producing any. Jack's mother asked him to go to the market to sell the cow for money to buy food.

When Jack was on the way to sell the cow, he met a man who said he had magic beans that grow really tall very quickly.
