My name is Amir. This is a story about my family. Last week we had a family party. Everyone wore nice costumes. My grandmother wore a blue dress with a pink scarf (hijab). I wore a black pirate costume. 

We ate, drank, talked, and played. Siti, my cousin, swam in the pool. Her brother, Toni, can’t swim. He just ran around the yard. Musa ran around with him. Musa is my little brother. My father loves singing. He sang many songs. 

My mother made a delicious cake and cooked many types of halal food. Everyone ate the cake. We also drank lemonade. My aunt made the drink. They are good at preparing food. I am also good, but not at cooking. I am good at eating! We finished the party at 3 o’clock PM. We all blew a balloon before going home.
