Gravitational force

• The pull of all objects in the universe on one another

• A force that repels objects away from each other

• The force that causes objects to float in space

• A type of frictional force between two surfaces

Unbalanced forces

• Forces that act on an object and cancel each other out; balanced forces cause no change in motion.

• Forces that act on an object and don't cancel out each other; unbalanced forces cause a change in motion.

• Forces that are equal in size and opposite in direction; they do not affect the motion of an object.

• Forces that only act on stationary objects and do not cause any movement.

• The downward force exerted on an object by water
