Si clauses with conditional

If I had more money, I would travel around the world.

(around the world = por el mundo)

If you knew the truth, you would be surprised.

(to surprise oneself = sorprenderse. It is in the reflexive form when the subject experiences the surprise personally.)

If he arrived early, he wouldn’t miss the bus.

(bus = autobús.)

If we lived in Spain, we would speak better Spanish.

If they wanted to study, they would get good grades.

If you asked for help, I would give it to you.

(to ask for = pedir)

(to help = ayudar)

(to give = dar)
