Figuring out Flat Keys

• Go to the Last Flat. That is your Major Key

• Go to the Second to Last Flat. That is your Major Key

• Go to the First Flat. That is your Major Key

• Go to the Third Flat. That is your Major Key

Figuring out Sharp Keys

• Go the last sharp in the Key Signature. Go up 1 whole step. That is your Major Key.

• Go the last sharp in the Key Signature. Go up 1 half step. That is your Major Key.

• Go the second to last sharp in the Key Signature. Go up 1 half step. That is your Major Key.

• Go the last sharp in the Key Signature. Go down 1 half step. That is your Major Key.
