• Collars and harnesses are both things that people use to walk dogs. But there are a lot of differences between them. Unlike a harness, a collar only goes around the neck. If a dog pulls back on it too hard, it can slip out and get free. You don’t want that! A harness differs from a collar in that it wraps around the dog’s whole body. That way, the dog can’t get loose if it tries to pull back on the leash.

• Hamsters can be great pets, but they aren’t great for everyone. They like to be active at night, and this includes running on a squeaking exercise wheel. If you’re easily woken up by noises, then a hamster might not be the right pet for you. Also, children under eight years old shouldn’t have a hamster. Most eight-year-olds aren’t able to handle a hamster gently enough, and they may hurt or drop the little animal. Or it may bite them!
