General idea comes first before the specific or particular idea

Particular ideas come first before the general idea

A means to analyze the truth is by looking through fallacies. A failure in reasoning which renders an argument invalid.

Attacking the individual person instead of the argument.

An attempt to redirect a conversation away from its original topic by introducing an irrelevant piece of iformation that distracts the reader or listener

Deliberate distortion of another person's argument. By oversimplifying or exaggerating it, the other party creates aneasy to refute argument.

Instead of justifying one's claim, a person cites an authority figure who is not qualified to make reliable claims about the topic at hand.

The appeal to common belief because it’s all about getting people to do or think something because “everyone else is doing it” or “everything else thinks this.
