• Staff: "Sure, we will send it right away."
• Staff: "Wait until tomorrow, we are busy now."
• Staff: "No, we don’t give towels to guests."

Guest: "Can I have a glass of water, please?"​ ​ ​ ​ (a)  

• Staff: "Take it yourself."
• Staff: "Certainly, I’ll bring it immediately."
• Staff: "We don’t give free water here."

Guest: "Could you help me call a taxi?"​ (a)  

• Staff: "Of course, I’ll call a taxi for you now."
• Staff: "Sorry, we don’t help guests."
• Staff: "Find a taxi outside by yourself."

Guest: "Can you bring my luggage to the room?"​ ​ (a)  

• Staff: "Maybe later if I’m not busy."
• Staff: "No, carry your luggage by yourself."
• Staff: "Sure, I’ll take it to your room.

Guest: "Could I have the Wi-Fi password, please?"​ (a)  

• Staff: "We don’t allow guests to use Wi-Fi."
• Staff: "Sure, the password is abcdef."
• Staff: "Sure, but you must give me a tip first."

Guest: "Can I get a blanket? It’s cold in my room."​ ​ (a)  

• Staff: "Certainly, I will send an extra blanket."
• Staff: "No, thanks."
• Staff: "You should buy one from the shop."

Guest: "Could you clean my room now?"​ (a)  

• Staff: "We only clean once a week."
• Staff: "You must clean it by yourself."
• Staff: Alright, our housekeeping will come soon."

Guest: "Can you recommend a good local restaurant?"​ (a)  

• Staff: "Yes, there’s a great restaurant nearby."
• Staff: "I don’t care about where you eat."
• Staff: "Find it on the internet by yourself."

Guest: "Could you change the bedsheet, please?"​ ​ (a)  

• Staff: "Sure, we will replace it right away."
• Staff: "Wait, we don’t change sheets for guests."
• Staff: “They don’t pay me enough for this.”

Guest: "May I have a soap, please?"​ (a)  

• Staff: "Of course, I’ll bring it to your room."
• Staff: "No, we don’t give soap here."
• Staff: "Get it yourself from the shop outside."
