What mood does Britell want to convey to his audience about the show?

Dissonance is a "lack of harmony" or "clash". Based on what the composter has said about the show so far, why is dissonance an appropriate choice/technique for the music? 

See that?  His technique matches what he wants to convey emotionally, and it matches what he wants to tell the listener.
