Cultural Diffusion

• The spread of ideas, customs, and technologies from one people to another.

• The isolation of cultures leading to unique developments.

• The process of cultural exchange through trade only.

Migration

• Movement of people from one place to another.

• A type of animal behavior during winter.

• The process of planting crops in agriculture.

Arable Land

• Land that can be used to grow crops.

Social Norms

Birth Rate

• The number of deaths in a population in a certain amount of time.

• The number of births in a population in a certain amount of time.

• The total population of a region at a given time.

• The average age of individuals in a population.

GDP

• Gross Domestic Product- the total market value of all final goods and services produced annually in an economy.

• General Domestic Product- the total value of goods produced in a country regardless of their final use.

• Gross Domestic Profit- the total profit made by all businesses in a country.

• Gross Domestic Price- the average price of goods and services in a domestic market.

Death Rate

• The number of deaths in a population in a certain amount of time.

• The total number of people in a population.

• The average lifespan of individuals in a population.

• The rate at which new individuals are born in a population.
