How to cut wood accurately the first time

When you cut wood, make sure you always

• cut EXACTLY ON the line you measured and marked.

• cut along the edge of the line you measured and marked, on the side just past your measurement.

What did you see him do that you should also do when you set up for a cut with a powered saw?

• Right before he started the blade, he backed it off the wood just a bit so that the blade was not right against the wood.
