Create your first document & other basic functions [ Lucidpress tutorials ]

By the end of this lesson, you will have a LUCIDPRESS account and started your first blank document.  You will be formatting your news article on this lucidpress document. WHAT will you learn by the end of this lesson and WHY am I teaching you this?

Word Study: LUCID

Definition: Clear or easy to see

Vowels: A, E, I, O, U (sometimes Y)

Consonants: every other letter in the alphabet

Open Syllables: Vowel IS NOT surrounded by consonants (Ex: Hi, see, go)

Closed Syllables: Vowel IS SURROUNDED by consonants (Ex: pet, him, car)

Question: The first syllable in the word LUCID (Lu-cid) is a ________ syllable.
