FLAT LAY PHOTOGRAPHY

If you had a "toolkit" to survive this year, what would be in it? List at least 10 items.

What would your "FOCAL POINT" be if you were photographing items in your survival toolkit? Mine might be my stack of seed packets for my garden because that's what I spent most of my time doing! What would be YOUR focal point?

What is SYMMETRY? If you don't know, look it up on Google!

When you include details such as the playing card sticking out, it makes it so that whoever is looking at your photo will LOOK FOR LONGER. There is more for them to keep looking at. What might some small details be included in your survival toolkit. I might open a few packs of those seeds and scatter the seeds so it looks like they are spilling out from the packet. What will you add for detail? Give more than one example.

Let's think about YOUR background for YOUR flat lay photo. We will be creating a flat lay photo of survival kit items. Now think about our theme. An old wooden textured surface won't really "go" with our theme which is gradients and shapes and purple, pink, teal and orange colors. Can you think of something that is really popular right now with kids your age or in general that we can include in the photo to use as our background?
