Media Access Control

Multiple Access Control

Multiple Authentication Control

Media Authentication Control

It is difficult to implement

MAC addresses can be easily spoofed

It requires expensive hardware

It slows down the network

Use only one channel for all access points

Place antennas to limit signal range

Increase the power levels of access points

Disable all security features

To reduce hardware costs

To save energy

To limit network access to within the building

To increase network speed

To allow all devices to communicate with each other

To reduce power consumption

To increase network speed

To prevent devices from communicating with each other

To reduce the number of connected devices

To increase the speed of the main network

To allow full access to all internal networks

To provide internet access without access to internal networks

To encrypt traffic on public networks

To provide a shared password for network access

To increase network speed

To limit the number of connected devices

It requires unique usernames and passwords for each user

It uses a shared passphrase for all users

It is easier to set up than PSK

It does not require any authentication

By allowing all devices to communicate freely

By increasing network speed

By limiting access based on physical location

By reducing power consumption

To increase network speed

To limit the number of connected devices

To present an authentication page upon connection

To provide a shared password for all users
