Orpheus and Eurydice's love story begins with a perfect wedding, but tragedy strikes when Eurydice dies from a snake bite. Overcome with grief, Orpheus ventures into the underworld to bring her back. His music moves Hades and Persephone, who agree to let Eurydice return with him on one condition: he must not look back at her until they reach the surface. Orpheus fails this test, losing Eurydice forever. Heartbroken, he sings of love and loss, inspiring the creation of love poems. Ultimately, Orpheus is killed by the Maenads, but finds peace with Eurydice in the underworld.
