Ganesha narrates his origin story, starting with his creation by Parvati from clay in the Himalayas. Parvati gives him life and instructs him to guard the door while she bathes. Unaware of his father Shiva, Ganesha stops him from entering, leading to a conflict where Shiva accidentally beheads him. To resolve the situation, Shiva replaces Ganesha's head with that of an elephant and blesses him with prosperity and intelligence. Ganesha becomes known by many names and is revered as the remover of obstacles.
