Christianity centers on the belief in Jesus as the Son of God and humanity's savior. It begins with the creation of the universe by God and the story of Adam and Eve, whose disobedience led to humanity's fall. God promised Abraham a nation that would bring forth a Messiah, believed by Christians to be Jesus. Jesus, born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed himself for humanity's sins. He resurrected three days later, offering salvation to believers. After appearing to many, he ascended to heaven, promising to return for final judgment. This message is known as the Gospel.
