What parts of the story are in the introduction (another word used for introduction is exposition)?

What is conflict?

• Introduce more characters

• Where the story happened

• The problem in the text

What is the climax? 

• The turning point, where the characters or something changes.

• Where the characters are happy.

• Where the story ends.

What happens in the falling action?

• The characters have a big fight and there are many more conflicts.

• The action starts to slow down. You can tell the story is coming to an end.

• The characters decide to give up.

What is the resolution?

• Where all the questions are answered. 

• Where the characters get more problems.

• Where we are introduced to the characters and the setting.

How does making a plot mountain help us to understand the text?

• It helps us understand the important parts of the story in a logical order.

• It describes the characters in the stories we read. 

• It is a type of mathematics we use to graph data.
