Why do you need to remove rings or watches?

Why do you need to be so thorough when washing your hands before a surgery? TIck all that apply

• You could pass on a disease or toxin to the animal you are working on, from another animal you have handled

• You could pass on a toxin to the animal you are working on, from something you have touched such as medication

• Its the polite thing to do

Why do you think this 'closed' gloving method, where you keep your hands inside the gown, is needed? 

• To keep the gloves sterile, if case you have something left on your hands

• To make it harder for our vet/nurse students
