Cleopatra, the last Pharaoh of Egypt, ruled with her brothers Ptolemy XIII and XIV. She married Julius Caesar and later Mark Antony, having a son named Cesarion with Caesar. Cleopatra and Antony opposed Octavian, Caesar's heir, in the Battle of Actium in 31 BC. Their defeat led to their suicides and the end of the Egyptian Empire, which was absorbed into the Roman Empire under Octavian, later known as Emperor Augustus.
