She served as the US Representative at the United Nations, where she played a key role in drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Later, under Kennedy, she chaired the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women. Eleanor was also an advisor to the NAACP and the Peace Corps, while continuing her writing career. She passed away in 1962, leaving a legacy as a transformative First Lady and advocate for social change.
