VOICED : Marine center fights to save California seals and sea lions

The Marine Mammal Center is conducting a large-scale rescue operation for over 200 sea lions and elephant seal pups, aided by 1200 volunteers. Rising ocean temperatures and El Nino have led to a fourfold increase in stranded sea lions. These conditions have driven prey deeper, causing malnourishment and other health issues in the animals.
