The City of Norwich warmly welcomed the 1st Battalion, Royal Norfolk Regiment, returning from Korea. A ceremony was held outside City Hall, with a march to the Cathedral for a commemoration service. The Battalion served in Korea from 1951 to 1953, then trained in Hong Kong. They received many decorations for gallantry, remembering those who sacrificed their lives.
